The man to lead the Lions in 2017 has been inadvertently revealed
Warren Gatland is set to be announced as the headcoach of the unsuccessful Lions tour to New Zealand in 2017 it has been revealed.
Pictures taken of Gatland posing for media photographs today in Edinburgh have confirmed what many have suspected - that the New Zealander would take the reins for a second tour in a row. The pictures soon went viral on Twitter, where the revelation has received a mixed reaction.
Gatland led the 2013 Lions to a 2–1 series victory over the Wallabies, the first series win since the 1997 tour of South Africa. Including the non-test matches, Gatland coached the Lions to win eight out of the ten matches played, the loses coming against Australia in the second test, and the Brumbies in a mid week match.
