Eben Etzebeth gets pinged for attempting to spring the All Blacks new lineout defence system

KNOW YOUR LAWS:
The Springboks know that the ABs new lineout D revolves around reacting to jumpers and more or less gambling on getting up quicker and winning - or at least disrupting - opposition lineout ball. So Etzebeth dummy jumps, springing the NZ defence, only for the ball to be thrown to the middle of the lineout. Nice try, but the ref spots it.

19.10(f) Jumping, supporting or lifting before the ball is thrown. A player must not jump or be lifted or supported before the ball has left the hands of the player throwing in. Sanction: Free Kick on the 15-metre line
