Andy Goode nominated for Players’ Player of the Year despite playing just 7 games

Simply majestic.

Andy Goode has been nominated for the Players' Player of the Year award - despite playing just seven games, and starting just four of them.

The 36-year-old effectively saved Newcastle Falcons from relegation, with the Falcons recording significant wins over top of table teams in his short term at the club.

Imagine if he played an entire season?

The Award nominees are:

Andy Goode – Newcastle Falcons

Nathan Hughes – Wasps Rugby

Charles Piutau – Wasps Rugby

George Smith – Wasps Rugby

Thomas Waldrom – Exeter Chiefs

The winners will be announced during our awards ceremony on Wednesday 11th May at Battersea Evolution in London.
