Ospreys flanker Sam Underhill is being touted as a standout prospect at openside and advocates are suggesting that England may even invoke their 'exceptional circumstances rule' in order to get him capped early - with this summer's tour to Australia being suggested as the most likely period for such a move. The reason for the rush is that the promising openside (6'1, 103kg) is eligible for Scotland, the USA and Wales if he completes a three year stint in Ospreylia.
The 19-year-old moved to Cardiff from Gloucester to study economics but it wasn't long before the Ospreys sought his services. The American born flanker is - in some circles - even being compared to a young David Pocock. Here he scores off a dainty chip from flyhalf Sam Davies.
